Application examples
Construction waste recycling
Demolition work generates many different recyclable materials. Bricks, lightweight concrete, plastic, wood, glass – all materials that should be returned to the recycling cycle in the interests of sustainability.
In addition to the reuse of plastic, wood or glass, if the light materials are separated from the residual material, recycled concrete, for example, can be made usable after appropriate processing.
Semi-mobile pulsator jigs such as our SKC jig are perfect for this purpose. They can be set up near the demolition site for a limited period of time and help to increase the recycling rate, improve the quality of the material and reduce the amount of residual materials that have to be transported to the landfill and disposed of there.
Soil remediation
Our soil performs various tasks. It forms the nutritional basis and habitat for humans, animals and plants. It contains and protects drinking water, is also a raw material store and forms the building ground.
As soils are only formed over geological periods and are therefore in fact a non-renewable resource, processing is particularly important.
During soil remediation, residual materials such as branches, stones, glass or plastic can be removed from the excavation by means of density sorting. This results in new topsoil.
Stockpile processing
Old stockpiles of all kinds often still have raw material reserves that can be exploited by reprocessing.
In view of dwindling raw material reserves and for reasons of sustainability, this topic is becoming increasingly important.
(Gravel) extraction sites with only a small volume
Semi-mobile plants are the ideal solution whenever extraction sites only promise a small quantity of raw materials. This is because building a new plant is uneconomical. However, transportation and further processing in existing plants consumes resources unnecessarily and is also cost-intensive.
The SKC type jig can be used directly at the extraction site and transported to the next location once the deposit is exhausted.
