Polyethylene, or PE for short, is the most widely used thermoplastic in our society and an essential part of modern life.
The polymer industry – both polymers produced synthetically from crude oil and natural gas (plastics) and biopolymers made from renewable raw materials – is not only one of the most innovative sectors in the world, it also offers a broad and constantly challenging range of applications for our solid-liquid separation products and system solutions. From a few micrometers to a few millimeters, our machines continuously and efficiently separate plastics from aqueous or organic suspensions.
If necessary, we wash off residual solutions and feed the plastics to one of our thermal drying units. Subsequent control screening or sampling from the continuous process are also part of our portfolio.
