Sieve Shaker ASM
Our ASM sieve shakers are throw sieve shakers, they are used for the automatic sieving of all screenable bulk materials into individual grain fractions for the reproducible determination of grain size distributions.
The new SLS 200 for fast, precise and reproducible particle size analysis of all dry screening materials in the laboratory and in production monitoring.
The Airjet screen SLS 200 was developed to meet the requirements of modern laboratories for fast, precise and reproducible particle size analysis of all dry sieving materials. The analysis range extends from approx. 20 to 4000 µm. The sample quantity is approx. 500 g, depending on the material density. With the optionally available air preheating, the field of application of the SLS can be extended for hygroscopic products.

Analysis range & sample quantity
The Airjet screen SLS has an analysis range of approx. 20 to 4000 μm, with a sample quantity, depending on the material density and material properties, of up to approx. 500 g (Ø200 mm), up to approx. 2000 g (Ø400 mm).
Reduced sieving time & more precise sieving
The air jet required for the exceptionally good dispersion is generated by a vacuum cleaner and directed through the slotted nozzle rotating below the screening surface.
To reduce the screening time and achieve more precise screening, the shape of the slotted nozzle has been lengthened and extended with an additional edge dispersion, which ensures a twofold loosening of the edge area with each rotation and thus a faster screening result compared to conventional nozzles.
Simple and intuitive operation via an app
The fines are drawn through the sieve openings into the container of the vacuum cleaner and collected. The negative pressure required for this can be specified via the app, as can the sieving time, and can be saved via SOPs.
Also suitable for rough applications
With its stainless steel housing and stainless steel sieve holder, the appliance can withstand even the toughest applications.
Accessories for Screening Machines
The following additional components are optionally available for the SLS:
- Industrial-quality vacuum cleaner for generating the required vacuum.
- Cyclone, to collect the fines or to relieve the filter bag of the vacuum cleaner
- Adapter for holding Ø400 mm test sieves
- Adapter for holding 7 test sieves of Ø100 mm each. With this option, we enable the operator to create a particle size distribution with 7 separation steps in a single operation
- Air preheating, to raise the temperature of the intake air so that hygroscopic products can also be classified
- Ionization device for reducing the electrostatic charge of individual particles, especially during the screening of plastics
- Underframes to accommodate the SLS including accessories for Screening Machines and sound enclosure for the vacuum cleaner
