Crushing & Milling is achieved by a shearing action between the slowly rotating crushing cone and the stationary outer grinding ring. To adjust the grinding fineness, the crushing gap between the grinding tools can be changed by turning the feed hopper. Due to the toothing on the fine cone, the Cone Crushers can be used to achieve final finenesses of max. < 2 mm with the standard tools.

- Sample material can be completely fed into the feed hopper, no metered feeding required
- Completely enclosed grinder after sample is placed in the hopper and lid is closed, i.e. can be operated without dust extraction
- Low wear and low maintenance design
- Can be used for very hard and abrasive or thermally sensitive products
- Grinding finenesses in fine increments, almost infinitely adjustable
- Final fineness of max. <2 mm, finer end products possible with special cones
- Optional dividing device
Operating behavior & mechanical features
To ensure a long service life, the entire grinder is made of tungsten carbide (WC).
Special equipment
The Cone crusher KM 65 can optionally be equipped with a dividing device so that crushed and divided samples can be obtained in a single work step during sample preparation in the laboratory. The continuously separated partial quantities can be set to 1:2, 1:4 or 1:8 via a register.
