Double Roller Mill
Gentle Crushing & Milling, production of low fines, hardly any increase in product temperature, rollers available in many materials.
Crushing & Milling in the single roller mill takes place between a rotating roller and a crushing wall. The ground material is drawn into the crushing gap and crushed by pressure and shearing until it can leave the gap.
Mechanical features of our single roller mills
Our Roller Mills are equipped with:
A degree of shredding
of usually 1:5 … 1:15, whereby a maximum of 1:30 can be realized.
An infinitely adjustable crushing gap
The crushing wall is supported by pre-tensioned springs and allows the crushing gap to be infinitely adjusted.
A reversible overload protection
The spring assemblies allow the movable crushing wall to evade smaller, non-breakable materials.
Stepped arrangement of the crushing wall
Improves the feeding of coarse material
Crushing bars on the roller
which can be adjusted in height by underfeeding, thus improving the feed behavior and changing the throughput rate. The comb crusher bar design offers further advantages in terms of feed behavior, especially with moist feed materials.
Segmented housing
enables the removal of a housing segment to replace the crushing bars and the wear plates on the roller body.
Plant engineering
Within the scope of plant construction, we also realize combinations of roller mills, such as
- 2 double roller mills arranged one above the other: With this arrangement of a 2-stage crushing and grinding (= roller mill), higher crushing degrees can be realized.
- Combination of a single roller mill for pre-crushing and a double roller mill for secondary crushing.
